Collection Builds through 2018 and 2019
A series of commissioned builds for Natalie Kingham, the curator of the Innovator’s platform on Matchesfashion.com, which supports fresh, up & coming, avant garde ideas within fashion. In 2018 the focus of the Innovator’s platform was on fashion sustainability.
Olly Walker from Ollystudio curated the project from the beginning through 3 builds which has now cemented Noki ‘Street Couture’ as a fixture and fitting within the high end spectrum of fashion.
The 2019 build was in collaboration with Jenny King Embroidery, who mashed up vintage floral dresses to achieve her new power applique.
Natalie Kingham has supported my work since back in the 90s at the ‘This Way Up Gallery’ at the original Dragon Bar, No. 5 Leonard Street, Shoreditch, London.
I’m immensely proud to see that something I started back in 1996 has endured and evolved with 25 years of creative build refinement.
