The owner of the original pair had previously purchased the shoes from a designer who’d done an official collaboration with PUMA. At the time he liked the designer and shoes because he thought they were edgy, and cool because the design had elements of deconstruction. He later found out this shoe was a naff, virgin textile copy of the deconstruction style and thus was repulsed by them. Rather than leaving the shoes as a negative energy of regret and dissatisfaction, he called up his post code customiser, Dr Noki, to custom build and reclaim them for him. Noki engulfed the failure of design in Digital Disorder graffiti print to completely revisualise the shoes into trippy foot sSkins.
