Dr Who? is Noki Show

Carnaby Street, London, February 2018

A solo retrospective show of more than 20 years of my work at the Subculture Archives, Carnaby Street, London. Featuring giant prints of Axel Hoedt’s photos of my masks, intermingled with a multitude of canvas based textile collages, unofficially cut up from over 100 well known brands of global importance. Olly Walker from Ollystudio curated the show, with the launch party hosted by Kirsty Allison from Cold Lips, featuring FeralisKinky, KillaKela and DJing by QBoy.

My aim with this exhibition was to celebrate and galvanise my achievements over the last 20 years and more importantly to myself to reboot my initial intention as a textile collage artist defining my version of the ‘mashup’ as cutting up the corporate body billboard ident to redefine its importance on a new rave generation.
